This next step is a little tricky, but is actually pretty easy to do once you know how.įold the point of one “dog ear” in to meet the line.įold the bottom portion to the side (to make a helpful crease) and then up as shown in the photos. Repeat this with the other 3 side corner points (both sides) so that you end up with “dog ears” on both sides. Take one side corner point and fold it down about 2” in length. With the paper open, grab the sides of the bottom large triangle while pressing in smaller triangles just above until you bring together the top large triangle. Your paper will now have 8 equal triangle creases, or 4 larger triangle creases (made from 2 small triangles each). Open the paper and fold the opposite corners (in both directions) to make creases that make an “X” shape.
